Prevention of Sperm and Embryo Mixing

This is a matter of utmost priority, even more so than success rates. Even a one-in-a-million chance of error is unacceptable. We are fully aware of this responsibility, and all necessary precautions are taken to ensure that treatments proceed with zero risk in the laboratory. The measures we take to ensure this security are as follows:

1 - Double Control in Operating Rooms and Laboratory Procedures

At each stage—sperm collection, egg retrieval, lab procedures, embryo freezing, embryo thawing, and finally, embryo transfer—the process is advanced only with the approval and documented witness of at least two staff members. The third layer of security is ensured with electronic wristbands during egg retrieval and embryo transfer. Additionally, identity checks are conducted by doctors, nurses, and embryologists, and their electronic signatures are recorded.

2 - Labeling of Laboratory Materials with Text and Electronic Tags

All containers and medical supplies used in the lab for holding eggs, sperm, and embryos are tagged using computer-supported RFID technology. Without RFID device confirmation, the next procedure cannot proceed.

3 - Displaying the Embryo Container with the Patient's Name for Verification

Before embryo transfer, the patient is shown the container with their name on the screen to confirm.
